Falassarna is an ancient Greek harbor town on the northwest coast of Crete, in the regional unit of Chania. For most people the area is one of the best beaches in Crete. The wild beauty of the impressive sandstone towers with hundreds of meters of walls reveal a secret old world. Falassarna is a tourist attraction spot and an agricultural area. Some of the characteristics of this place are the olive groves and glasshouses, cultivating mainly tomatoes. The long sandy beaches and the crystal clear waters make this place a small paradise.
